A Patient / Consumer Perspective: The Value of a Support Group

Mariah Abercrombie is due to receive a Masters in Clinical Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in May. She is a long-time member of the Oley Foundation. The annual Oley Foundation Consumer/Clinician conference is held in a different part of the U.S. each year. In 2012, it will be held in Redondo Beach, California, June 25–29. It is a unique opportunity for HPN consumers to network with one another and learn more about the therapy that sustains them. It is also a unique opportunity for clinicians to talk to patients in a casual setting and to learn more about the patients' concerns and perspective. For more information, visit www.oley.org.
