Reimbursement Issues in Long-Term Care

Don graduated from the University of Portland School of Nursing, Portland, Oregon in May 1973. He served three years with the US Navy Nurse Corps as an O.R. Nurse and continued to work as an O.R. nurse for several years. He left nursing in February 1987 to pursue a career as a flight attendant with Continental Airlines, returned to nursing in August of 1992 with Resource Pharmacy as an infusion nurse consultant and remained with the company through several mergers, leaving Sunscript Pharmacy in December 2002. Don now works for Pharmacy Advantage as the Director of Nursing and Infusion Services. He has been a member of OCVAN for three years, as well as INS for the past six years.
